Weekly goals and what’s in my closet?

I thought I’d start a little segment on the blog called, ‘What’s in my closet?’ I often share with you my running gear, but I love everyday fashion too. I love dressing up, but I also love being comfortable and not spending our entire grocery budget on a shirt.

My first outfit is what I wore yesterday to church. I know these pictures are laughable quality, but my camera broke this summer. I’m hoping/saving my pennies for a new one;) Meanwhile, bear with me. . .

This skirt is what I want to focus on, it’s my favorite go-to skirt.

It’s super long- I can wear it high waisted with my shirt tucked in, or how I wore it above with a longer shirt

It’s stretchy-the material is cotton/spandex, I can run after J in it without looking like a penguin, and bend over without feeling like I’m going to barf.

It was $20(from Old Navy)-I love a good deal. Anything less than $30 for a skirt is a win in my book.

The rest of my look: shirt: Banana Republic Outlet(old), Sweater: Macy’s(old), Heels: TJ Maxx

Weekly Goals

Last Week Goals

On top of POM and Runovember goals, I wanted to:

1. Run outside 3 times- fail, I only ran outside once

2 Do 1 tempo workout-check, it was awesome to run fast again

POM count: 31/72 miles Runovember goal was to run 30 miles in 30 days. I’ve achieved 30 miles=)

New Goals

1. Break out the foam roller, I’ve been slacking

2. Eat better snacks(green smoothies, fruit and yogurt, and the veggies I bought)

What’s your go-to dressy outfit?

About Sugar Plum Runner

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

  4. ok, SUPER cute outfit! I should have you shop for me! haha Great goals. I need to run outside more but I just have SUCH a hard time getting myself to do it when it’s cold. I’m a baby.
