Weekly goals and someone’s feeling fancy


Saturday- 1 mile warm up on treadmill + NTC  workout

This was a new to me workout on Nike Training Club, and I could feel it! I love workouts that make me feel like jello after.

That afternoon my sister Bree came over. We did our nails and chatted but I mostly snuggled with this little guy.

That night we went out for a  celebratory dinner(we payed Josh’s car off).  We had Thai food again, different place, but no pic. After dinner, we returned some things at Nordstrom Rack and J found a new winter coat. He’s feeling fancy.

Last Week Goals(2 weeks ago I’m late)

1. Do 3 core workouts-check

2. Eat whatever I want on Christmas, the rest of the week eat 80% healthy, 20% whatever-fail, I ate chocolate for dayysss!

3. Enjoy the week with family-check

New Goals

1. Run one 5-6 mile run

2. Do 3 strength training workouts

If you had to choose a pattern, what would be your favorite?

I always gravitate towards stripes

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner! I grew up in WA state, but currently reside in UT with my husband Josh, son Jackson, and 2 daughters Lily and Claire. I love running, but I have never been so inspired to run, race, and blog about it since 4 years ago after I had Jackson. I grew up playing soccer and cheered in high school. My favorite part of both sports(and yes I consider cheer leading a sport) was the conditioning. I found myself running after practice was over on my own. That's when I realized that running may be the sport I really loved.

    polka dots, i must be a little old lady on the inside cause i always really liked polka dots. I’ve never used the nike training app but I’ve heard good things about it so maybe I’ll try it out.

  2. I love polka dots! Or anything animal print…but polka dots is my favorite. J sure looks stylin’ 😉

  3. I love solid colors. its kind of sad. In college I loved zebra. I also love nautical stripes.

  5. I use N.T.C almost everyday! Right now I’m loving the ab workout – Core Crunch!

  7. I’m not really a pattern person, but I Love stripes!

    I also love Nike Training Club. Definitely makes strength training fun. For cardio I use the lolo Beatburn apps when I can’t get outside to run. Definitely makes the treadmill/elliptical/stationary bike less boring. I’m usually to busy gasping for breath and wishing it would end to be bored!
