About Me

Welcome to the Sugar Plum Runner. I’m a 29 year old stay at home mom to Jackson(often referred to as J), Lily, Claire, and Cooper. My husband is Josh and he is incredibly hard working, and is the definitely the fan favorite to our little crew and such a sweet husband to me, a crazy running lover! My name is Sharsti, pronounced Share-stee and there are some things you should know about me right away. I love my family. I wouldn’t be who I am today with out my crew.

I love candy, the color purple and running=Sugar Plum Runner. I played soccer growing up and always loved the conditioning at the end, I know, call me crazy. It wasn’t until high school and college that I realized it was my favorite form of working out. It took me another 5 years to start racing. In fact, it was after I had little J in 2011 that I wanted to run my first half marathon with my sister in law in June of 2012. I was addicted and signed up for 3 more half marathons that same summer. I’m excited to attempt a full marathon at some point.
